Where each colour goes
| Colour | Hex | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
| Work (pumpkin) | #C2611A | Work blocks, in a warm pumpkin |
| Health (nutmeg) | #7A3E12 | Walks and winter air, in a dark nutmeg |
| Personal (pie crust) | #E3B26A | Family, guests and baking, in a golden pie crust |
| Goals (whipped cream) | #FBF0DC | What you want done before the year ends, in whipped-cream white |
| Accent (nutmeg) | #7A3E12 | Buttons, today’s date and highlights |
| Protected time (whipped cream) | #FBF0DC | A soft wash over your protected time |
A dessert, in the order you eat it
These four are the layers of one slice: the cream, the crust, the filling and the spice. Because they all come from the same warm family, a full week in them looks calm. Pumpkin is the brightest, so it goes on Work, where you’ll see it most. In the US, Thanksgiving is Thursday 26 November this year.
Your week in pumpkin pie
The week at the top of this post is a real week in Anser, in the Summer Picnic style with the Bold look for categories, so every event shows its full colour. To get the same look, open Settings › Appearance › Colours › How categories look and choose Bold. The palette works in every style.
The week of the pie
- Sunday: buy the pumpkin, or the tin. Nobody will know.
- Tuesday: make the pastry. It likes a night in the fridge.
- Wednesday: bake the pie. It’s better on day two.
- Thursday: whip the cream at the last minute.
- Friday: pie for breakfast. It’s allowed.
