You get 14 days of everything in Anser. No card needed. Anser reminds you in the app before the trial ends, and by email three days before and on the day it ends.

One plan for up to 5 people, including the person who pays: $20 a month or $190 a year. Everyone gets their own private Anser. One bill, and you can add people any time.

The person who pays invites people with a link that works once and expires after 7 days. They see the names and email addresses of the people on the plan, never their calendars.

Anser becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted. You can still see everything and change your profile, notifications, sharing, boundaries and look. Choose a plan any time to edit again.

Yes, any time, in Settings › Plan & billing › Manage billing. You keep full access until the end of the period you paid for. The full details are in our Terms.

No. You can sign in with Google, or with your email: Anser emails you a 6-digit code, and you type it in. That also works inside TikTok’s and Instagram’s browsers, where Google sign-in doesn’t.

Anser works on its own without Google Calendar. You can connect Google any time from Settings › Calendars, and it joins the same account, even if your Google address is different from the one you signed up with.

Yes. Connect it when you sign up with Google, or any time in Settings › Calendars. Anser shows the events already there, checks them against your boundaries, and saves new events you add in Anser to the Google calendar you choose.

In Settings › Calendars you pick which calendars to Show and which to Use for free time. Changes you make in Google usually show up in Anser within a few minutes, and Sync now checks straight away. If an event changed in both places, Anser asks which version to keep. Anser only changes your Google Calendar when you ask it to.

Anser keeps only what it needs: from calendars you show, each event’s title, times, place or meeting link, and the names of the people on it (not their email addresses); from calendars you use only for free time, just when you’re busy. Event descriptions aren’t copied. Turn a calendar off (neither shown nor used for free time) and its events are removed from Anser; they stay in Google.

The part of your week you want to keep: your working hours, evenings, sleep, or anything else you set up in Settings › Boundaries. When something lands inside it, Anser tells you, and you decide whether to allow it once or decline.

Declining needs your Google Calendar connected. Google sends the organiser your “declined” response with a short note everyone on the invite sees, and Anser usually emails the organiser a few words from you (“you via Anser”). You see both before anything goes, and their replies come straight to your email.

Pick how it sounds in Settings › Boundaries › How you decline: Warm, Friendly, Direct or your own words, and edit any of them. Anser’s words never say why unless it’s your working hours, and the invite note ends with “Protected with Anser” unless you turn that off.

If you’re optional on an invite, Anser declines in Google without emailing the organiser, unless you choose to send a note. It only says “declined automatically” when a special day declined an invite for you.

Anser never sends from your Gmail. If the note can’t go out, Anser tells you, and the organiser still sees your answer in Google.

Ready-made weeks, like The 9–5 with Boundaries or The Sunday Reset. You see one on your own week before anything is added, and one tap undoes it.

Anser works in your phone’s browser. Add it to your Home Screen to open it like an app and get notifications. On iPhone and iPad: Share, then Add to Home Screen.

In Settings › Notifications you choose, for each kind, whether it comes as a push notification, an email, both or neither, and whether Anser stays quiet while you sleep. Push works per device: turn it on there with Turn on push. On iPhone and iPad, add Anser to your Home Screen first and turn push on from there.

Yes, in Settings › Appearance. Choose the goose, the hedgehog, the puppy or the kitty as your companion, or turn it off and simple icons take its place. You can also pick a style (Summer Picnic, Minimal / Focus or Classic), light or dark, a font, a colour palette and an accent, and turn on the weather beside your greeting. There’s also a monogram for your sidebar, cozy backgrounds with a solid, frosted or see-through calendar, and a highlighter look for categories.

Only you. Today’s page, your moods, gratitude notes and reflections, and your vision board are private to you. Photos and files you attach are kept in private storage that only your account can open. None of it is shared with Shared Life or Friends & Family.

If you share a calendar, the people you add can see that calendar’s events.

No. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising, and we don’t use advertising or analytics cookies.

Yes, any time: Settings › Profile & account › Download my data. You get one ZIP with your journal, calendar, routines, moods, reflections, goals, boundaries and vision board photos, in files that open without Anser.

Go to Settings › Profile & account › Delete account, and type “delete” to confirm. Download your data first if you’d like a copy. This removes your Anser data and files right away, and cancels your plan so you’re not charged again. Your Google Calendar stays as it is.

Our database backups keep a copy for up to 7 days, then it’s gone too. Or email hello@anserplanner.com and we’ll do it within 30 days.

No. Friends you plan with in Shared Life join free, always. They only pay if they want their own full Anser.

Only what you choose for each person: your busy and free times, so Anser can find when you’re both free, and your boundaries, shown as busy. Event titles and notes are never shared from your own calendar.

A shared calendar is different: anyone you add to it sees what’s on that calendar. You can change what each person sees, remove someone, or pause all sharing at any time in Settings › Shared Life.

Plans you add or accept yourself do, when your Google Calendar is connected. Plans other people add go in too if you turn on “Add plans from shared calendars to my Google Calendar” in Settings › Shared Life. It’s off until you turn it on.

They go into the Google calendar you add new events to, without anyone’s email address, and change when the plan changes. If you turn the setting off or leave the calendar, Anser takes out the copies it added. Events you added to Google yourself stay.

If you already put a shared plan in Google yourself (from an email, say), Anser won’t show it twice: when the title and the start and end times match the plan exactly, it’s treated as your copy.
