Navy & gold colour palette: classic hex codes for your planner

Navy and gold, with a denim blue and a warm ivory. It’s a smart palette: the colours of a blazer with brass buttons.

Where each colour goes

ColourHexUse it for
Work (navy)#14213DWork blocks, in a navy that means business
Health (denim blue)#2F4A7AMovement and rest, in a softer denim blue
Personal (gold)#E0A82EThe bright one: dinners, friends and weekends
Goals (ivory)#F3E9D2Long-term plans, kept light in ivory
Accent (navy)#14213DButtons, today’s date and highlights
Protected time (ivory)#F3E9D2A soft wash over your protected time

Gold goes on the good part

Blue and gold are near-opposites, so they never blur together. Two blues carry the working day, and the gold is saved for Personal. In a week of navy, the gold blocks are the first thing you see, and they’re the evenings and weekends.

Your week in navy & gold

The week at the top of this post is a real week in Anser, in the Summer Picnic style with the Bold look for categories, so every event shows its full colour. To get the same look, open Settings › Appearance › Colours › How categories look and choose Bold. The palette works in every style.

A smart, steady week

  • Plan Monday on Friday. Ten minutes before you log off.
  • One task before email. The important one.
  • Dress for one thing this week that isn’t work.
  • End on time twice. Write the time down.

Make it in Anser
